Frequently Asked Questions about TAS3

1. How much disk space is required for TAS3? About 2 MB of disk space is required on the client machine -- that includes the dialer and the Service Quality Management (SQM) feature. |

2. What happens to TAS2 we're currently using? The TAS3 can co-exist with other dialers, however be aware that over time we will be phasing out TAS2. The TAS2 dialers will continue to receive phonebook updates until July 1, 2000. TAS3 users will receive a phonebook from a different phonebook server. These phonebooks will be in different formats, but will contain the phone numbers. |

3. Will the installation of TAS3 automatically update my settings from the old dialer? Yes, if you have completed the installation of the new dialer prior to uninstalling the old dialer, all settings, user information, and preferences, including the area code of the last searched on access point will appear when you launch TAS3. |

4. With which versions of the Microsoft OS is TAS3 compatible, and are there incompatibilities with this new dialer that I should be aware of? TAS3 is based on the Microsoft Windows operating system. Because it is developed on the Microsoft Windows operating system, there are no known issues or incompatibilities. The minimum client system requirements are: -Windows 95 (OSR2 or with Dial-Up Networking 1.2b or later) -Windows 98 -Windows NT Workstation 4.0 and Server 4.0 (with Service Pack 3 or later) -Windows 2000 -Windows XP (Must be logged on as Administrator) -2.0MB free disk space 486/25 or faster CPU -8 MB RAM |

5. How will TAS3 be distributed? The dialer installation file can be distributed to users by email, CD or downloading it from our website. |

6. Do I have access to more POPs with TAS3? TAS3 has the same amount of POPs as TAS2. Over time it will have more, as the phonebook updates to TAS2 will stop after July 1, 2000.

7. Can items be sorted in the phone books? iPassConnect has a simple point and click interface. Access points in the phone book that appear in the client dialer may be selected through choosing the country, state, city, or area code and may be sorted by the user by city name, access point number, speed, or price. |
