CGNET and XOsoft Sign Sales Agreement
CGNET to Resell XOsoft Products to Nonprofit Organizations, NGOs and Foundations
Waltham , MA, and MENLO PARK, CA, September 12, 2005 XOsoft, a leading provider of continuous application availability software solutions, and CGNET Services International, a global provider of email and network services, announced today that they have signed a strategic agreement whereby CGNET will sell services using XOsoft's WANSync and WANSyncHA software.
CGNET will bundle XOsoft products into CGNET Non-Stop Exchange (NSX) and other services aimed at nonprofit organizations, nongovernmental organizations and foundations, a market it has served for more than 22 years.
CGNET NSX combines XOsoft's WANSyncHA Exchange with Assured Recovery with CGNET's reliable 24/7 remote server hosting, consulting and management. A customer's Microsoft Exchange server is continuously backed up across the Internet to a virtual Exchange replica server at CGNET's network operations center. The ability of the replica server to restore the email is tested constantly, to ensure application availability on the replica server in the event of a failure. CGNET also immediately begins operations to notify the customer and repair the master server.
CGNET will also offer similar services based on XOsoft products for file servers and SQL Server and Oracle database management systems.
According to Georg Lindsey, President of CGNET, "Our clients' IT networks span the globe, often delivering services to some of the most remote geographies in the world. They need to have confidence that their primary communications systems will always be up and running. XOsoft's products are breakthrough technology, offering our customers the best continuous application availability now provisioned as a hosted network service."
"We see this agreement as an important step for XOsoft into the non-profit sector, a market segment that has not been a core focus for our sales force and where long-term relationships are valued highly," said Tom O'Connell, President of XOsoft.
