*********************************************************************** Welcome to INMAREN! INMAREN (Input Markets Reforms Network) is an e-mail list server which broadcasts messages and announcements to its subscribers. Its goal is to facilitate communication among researchers, donor employees, policy makers, and business organizations interested in promoting the development of agricultural input markets, especially in low-income, or formerly centrally planned countries. INMAREN is primarily concerned with modern inputs markets which include markets for fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, agricultural equipment and livestock services. INMAREN can be used by all members: (i) to announce meetings, seminars, and conferences that may be of interest to other subscribers; (ii) to inform subscribers of new publications and policies enacted; (iii) to inform subscribers of ongoing research and research findings; (iv) to function as a forum for the exchange of questions and answers, discussions and brainstorming about issues related to input market reforms; (v) to request assistance in locating additional relevant information. Sending mail to all subscribers can be done easily by sending it to the INMAREN e-mail address: INMAREN@CGNET.COM. PLEASE NOTE: You cannot use the "reply-to" function to reply to the list. The return path "INMAREN-postmaster" routes messages to the CGNET postmaster, not to the list. To send a message to the list, you will need to manually enter the e-mail address INMAREN@CGNET.COM All members are encouraged to introduce themselves to the other subscribers by sending as their first message to INMAREN their name, their occupation, the organization they are affiliated with, and their interest in input markets reforms.
